Toshiba Medical Visualization Systems (http://www.tmvse.com) in Edinburgh (UK) was established through acquisition in 2009 as a centre of excellence for Toshiba Medical in Japan. They have developed into an internationally recognized research group in medical image analysis and healthcare data sciences. As more companies attempt to drive value and revenue from their data, they are investing more in big medical data analysis from multiple sources for integrating, mining and practical medical use in clinical settings. They invest in projects which provide clinical solutions that enable more accurate diagnosis, improve workflow to allow highly efficient medical practice, and assist in hospital management by reducing the economic cost for medical facilities installing our systems.
